History
In 1987, Willis
A. Waas was killed in a general aviation crash. As a result, Wings
of Light was formed, by his daughter, to provide a network of
individuals and families affected by aircraft accidents as well
as resources and information. The emphasis is on those in the
general aviation community and crew of commercial aviation and
their families. Surviving passengers and families of passengers
are also welcome.
Wings of Light
has
volunteers nationwide and affiliated organizations internationally.
The founder
of Wings of Light is an active general aviation pilot and member
of several aviation organizations.
The Wings
of Light members consists of aircraft survivors, family
of those killed, grief experts, and members of the aviation community.

ARFF - Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Working Group
